Why doesn't
Bridal apparel fit the same as regular day clothes?
Bridal apparel, Bridal
gowns, bridesmaids, flower girl dresses and formal wear are Bridal
sizing and not US department store sizing and will fit smaller then
regular day clothes. They generally fit approximately one and occasionally
two sizes smaller. For instance, if you were to wear a regular dress size 6 then
you will wear a bridal size size 8 (one size)
or 10 (two sizes if busty). Bridal
companies sell to the international as well as our domestic markets. Due to their global
market share most
formal wear and bridal apparel companies produce on an
international sizing scale different form our US department stores.

When is the
best time to make my selections for my wedding gown and
bridesmaid dresses?
Many stores will tell
you many different stories. However, a bride must allow a
minimum of 14 weeks and a maximum of 16 for the delivery of
a bridal gown or bridesmaid dresses to be delivered from the
factory. Often the manufacturer will deliver the goods
sooner then the 14 to 16 weeks. However, if there were any
delays in shipping, production, or damage in shipping the
full 14 to 16 weeks might be necessary. A wedding day is a
very important day and there is no need to put yourself
under stress by not allowing enough time for delivery. A
Bride not allowing herself the time needed and a store not
informing her of the proper time frame to order her gowns is
the # 1 reason for wedding horror stories. This is why
Bridal Co. has a very precise time table and will
not take an order if time does not permit. Bridal Co.
has never missed a wedding in over 25 years of

When is the
best time to make my selections for my flower girl dresses?
The size of a
flower girl or girls is a tough decision. A child will experience growth spurts
that make it very difficult to order a gown because of the unpredictable nature
of their growth pattern.. That is why Bridal Co. carries in stock, a large
selection of flower girl dresses sizes 2T to plus size 19. This allows the
flower girl to purchase her wedding day apparel closer to the date of the
wedding and avoid fit problems. The trend is to mirror the bride in the white or
ivory color of the bride. The flower girl is then given color in her accessories
like the ribbons and baskets the she will carry.

How Do I go
about choosing a color for my bridesmaids?
The color you
choose for your bridesmaids will be very much dependant on their individual skin
tone, hair color, color theme of wedding, location, and of course your dress. It
is very important to take each one of these into consideration. They will all be
wearing the same dress so take care to choose a dress that will accent their
respective features. Also, if you will be bringing a photographer in make sure
to let him know your color choices so he doesn't prepare a backdrop for your
portrait that has little or not contrast against your dresses.

What
happens between the time a special order dress is ordered and it is shipped to the customer?
After you have chosen
the style, color, size of your new gown and processed your
order with Bridal Co., the production process
begins. Your order is transmitted to the manufacturer you
have chosen beginning the production process of making
your designer gown. The designer begins the process of
producing your gown for your special wedding day at one of
many factories throughout the world. The Bridal industry has
truly become a part of our global economy by producing
lavish gowns at the best prices for the consumer by taking
advantage of the expertise of the world labor force.
The factory processes
all the orders for each particular gown style and organizes
them into large lots of dresses, each being cut, sewn, and
then beaded. They then go through an inspection process
before they are packaged and sent to the U.S. designers
warehouses. They arrive in the U.S. through many of our warm
water port cities where they wait to pass through customs
before they are trucked to the designers US warehouses.
Once the garments arrive in the warehouse, the process of
organizing and inspecting the garments begins again. One by
one, each garment is inspected and shipped to the retailer.
Each dress manufactured for Bridal Co. is then packed and shipped to Bridal Co.
where it is once again inspected before being released to our
customer.

Is it possible to get
extra fabric?
It is indeed. Depending on the designer and
fabric, it can be ordered separate by the yard or in some instances dresses are
available with extended hollow.

planning on being in the area. Do I need an appointment?
Absolutely not. Walk-ins are always
welcomed. We are here 6 days a week to assist you on your most important day.

Do you offer
layaway or payment options ?
We do actually offer a layaway option. If
ordering online, we give you the opportunity to pay half at time of order and
the remaining balance in 30 days for the same low price. We do offer an in store lay away
option as well. The length of time for in store layaway of in-stock
merchandise is half down and the balance in 30 days. For additional details ask your sales associate at our retail
store.

How will my out of
town bridesmaids receive their dresses?
When this initial order is placed for we will ask the bride when her wedding is
and the names of all respective bridesmaids. This way with permission, the bride
can pick up her maids dresses. Another option is, (at the time of order) request
that your dress be picked up by a specific person; i.e. friend, significant
other, family member etc., supply us a name and all we will ask of the specified
person picking it up is proper I.D. and the receipt. Its that easy or request
your order be shipped.
